Cancer Supportive Care workshop for nurses

The Supportive Care in Cancer Refresh Project, led by the University of Melbourne has delivered a suite of contemporary consumer and clinician friendly resources to address the current variation in access to and knowledge about cancer supportive care across Victoria.

Register for this free afternoon workshop to learn more about the suite of 'We Can' supportive care in cancer resources for people affected by cancer and health professionals. The resources include a new website, awareness materials and an online education module. 

This workshop will be hosted by Professor Mei Krishnasamy, Chair in Cancer Nursing, University of Melbourne; Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Department of Cancer Experiences Research, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, VCCC Research & Education Lead, Cancer Nursing.

Alongside peers you will learn:

  • How and where to access WeCan resources
  • How resources can be used in clinical areas
  • How resources can benefit health professionals and consumers in accessing supportive care information.

Registration is FREE and includes afternoon tea on arrival.
