Dr Teh will present on how cancer and its treatment may leave patients vulnerable to COVID-19 infection.
Belinda Lambros, who is an infectious disease liaison nurse from the Department of Infectious Diseases, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and National Centre for Infections in Cancer will then talk about how we can best protect ourselves and our cancer patients during this pandemic.

Dr Benjamin Teh is an infectious diseases physician and clinical researcher at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the National Centre for Infections in Cancer. His research interests in the area of infections in the cancer patients encompass translational immune profiling for infection risk prediction, clinical studies of infection risks with new cancer therapies and clinical trials of prevention measures such as vaccination in haematology patients.
