The vulnerability of cancer patients to COVID-19 infection and how to protect our patients and ourselves

The current COVID-19 pandemic raises critical clinical questions and challenges for health professionals seeking to continue optimal care for patients with cancer. The VCCC is pleased to partner with the Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC) to present our second special COVID-19 edition of Monday Lunch Live stream.

Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Zee Wan Wong, Medical Oncologist from Peninsula Health will moderate this interactive forum beginning with infectious diseases expert Dr Benjamin Teh from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Belinda Lambros, who is an infectious disease liaison nurse from the Department of Infectious Diseases, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and National Centre for Infections in Cancer will then talk about how we can best protect ourselves and our cancer patients during this pandemic.
