Sarcoma Awareness Month webinar series: clinical trials – why participate?

Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) is partnering with the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre in July to present a special series of four webinars for Sarcoma Awareness Month.

Over the years, cancer research and clinical trials have led to better treatments and outcomes for people diagnosed with cancers like sarcoma. ANZSA is involved in sarcoma research, both locally and internationally. While there’s a lot of readily available information on clinical trials, consumers still have many questions, especially on sarcoma-related clinical trials.

Please join Dr Susie Bae, ANZSA Fellow and Sarcoma Specialist, with Julijana Todorovic, sarcoma survivor, who will provide an overview of understanding sarcoma-related clinical trials, which may differ from other cancer types.

Learn about:

  • the benefits of clinical trials
  • how to participate
  • the questions to ask before deciding to take part
