VCCC Knowledge translation workshop: maximise your clinical research impact

Do you want your research to change the cancer landscape - influence decision-makers and attract further funding? Do you want to reach out to patients affected by your work? Achieving these impacts requires a plan for delivering the right information, to the right people, at the right time, and in a format that they can use. This one-day intensive workshop offers practical tools to help you embed a plan for impact across all stages of your research, using a knowledge transfer framework approach. Influence and engage with peers, policy-makers, consumers, funding bodies and others.

This one-day intensive, practical workshop, will equip participants with:

  • Practical knowledge transfer frameworks, enabling researchers to apply them to research projects
  • Skills to support researchers’ efforts to develop effective relationships with research end-users and decision-makers
  • Skills and strategies for effectively communicating research to a range of audiences and end-users
