The Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) Model

Cancer is the largest disease burden in Victoria and the largest single cause of death in our community. It is expected that one in two Victorians will develop cancer in their lifetime and one in five will die from the disease.

Internationally in cancer control, the Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) model has been increasingly applied to address the multi-faceted problem we face.

The pages below explain the cancer burden we face and explain what a CCC is and what benefits it will provide.
