VCCC Nurse-Led Research Hub
Sponsorship of inaugural cancer research projects
Development and delivery of specialised, targeted cancer clinical trials education and professional development contributes to a highly trained workforce.
A key focus of the VCCC is to expand clinical trials in all ways, including access, participation design and type. To achieve increased clinical trial activity across Victoria and nationally, our workforce must be capable.
The VCCC Development of Clinical Trials Workforce Capacity and Capability Program provides education and training to fulfil unmet needs. To do achieve this, the program team is progressing:
Access professional development opportunities such as cancer clinical trial related courses, workshops or training programs with support from the VCCC.
Regional clinical trial staff can apply to cover costs for registration, accommodation travel or membership. Manager endorsement is required; successful applicants may be asked to develop a report or presentation regarding attendance.
Applications are now open, submit by Monday 17 June.
Call a Colleague aims to connect clinical trial staff, including members of the Regional Trial Network. Staff members provide their contact details and areas of expertise, to enable their sector colleagues to connect, support and gain advice.
The SKILLED internship program provides a pathway for students to build role-specific clinical trial knowledge, experience and skills in a clinical trials unit. Interns gain on-the-job training with VCCC alliance partners and collaborators in metro and regional locations.
