Monday Lunch Livestream with Jon Yeo

Science communication, especially in the post-COVID-19 era

Today, science communication has a real challenge to separate itself from noise and fake news. If real science is to make its mark, we need to understand modern communication practice that is clear, concise and builds trust. How does science need to be responsible and responsive to the community especially in the post-COVID-19 era?

In this interactive Monday Lunch Livestream, executive speaker coach, Jon Yeo will review how to maintain integrity in science communications in a fake news society. He will cover:

  • How to be seriously considered and sought after in the community?
  • How to cut through the increasing fake news?
  • How to create memorable "sound bites" and moments?
  • Publicise professionalism and brand
  • Quickly built trust, rapport and reputation

This is an interactive workshop. Participants are asked to please have a notepad handy to explore how we can create a short, effective narrative together.
